From the Heart Through the Pen

I love chemistry
But hate science
Love what you do to me
Just not a fan of this
Need to stop being this Stupor Hero
Cause the only one I'm saving is...
Hmmm...Let me get back to you on that...
A dime minus ten cents
Just like that I'm making no sense
Just like her and I aren't parents
To the same child
Yet both adults maturing in the wild
While all the while
I'm still making no cents
At least nothing worthy to mention
I think my motivation just walked in
She's 5'4", elegant
Such a purty set of lips
Open up the Patron bottle
It'll soon lead
To the fourth rendition of Alcohol Induced
But, before it does
Let's go back to those lips
And what she mentioned
Dear Lord, I've gotta put this journey on hold
She told me she needs saving
Sigh...old habits die hard
Tomorrow I'll be picking out the shards
For now...bottoms up
Up, up and there I go
Let's pray this is my last night as the Stupor Hero
