Leaf Sweeper

Allowing mind to lapse
Searching for love
Acceptance perhaps
Giving body in hope thereof

Someone to take hand
Look at her so she sees
Given magic wand
In her arms he’d wish to be

A whisper in ear at parties
A blush, a smile, a tingle
Showing she is such rarity
Her fire he desires to kindle

Understands she walks thin line
Sometimes to lose control
Heart though for him divine
Prepares pillow for her soul

Comfort ‘til fear’s erased
Gentle kiss to help unwind
Arms around her waist
Tears of joy ‘til blind

Spirit free to roam
To be as she will be
Never to feel alone
True beauty for all to see

Search will cause heart to harden
So let storm blow within your trees
Then with calmness in your garden
See who’s sweeping up the leaves
