An Afternoon Drive

Miss Doris was a lady who had a van for her vehicle.
Faithfully attending church you'd find her there for the morning and then the evening.
People liked to see her drive up to the church for she was a hot-rodder.
Erratically driving her van,  Miss Doris was more than careful of the children out in the yard.
This was the only thing she did which was to look out for the children.
After leaving the church, Miss Doris went for an afternoon drive.
She discovered beyond her own place was a waterway with the  buoys .
Captivated with the sight Miss Doris wondered how long it had been there.
A voice from behind her answered her unasked question.
It was none other than the Lord which stood there to answer her.
Loving the Lord with all of her heart she went to Him and it was from there the two went to Heaven.
The van Miss Doris drove was abandoned and later found the next day.
Her keys were inside the van which was typical of Miss Doris leaving them in there.
No sign of her was ever discovered.
Some believed she walked away from the place and was never found again.
Others believed as I did the Lord loved her so much He wanted her to spend her lifetime with Him for always.
She in a word became like Enoch for having walked with the Lord and was not for God took him.
