 Grandeur Of Melancholy

Yesterday's Ghosts

An ode.
To a simple song.
That you won't be pulled along.

Not by the chains of the dead,

yesterdays we had. Like the back
of my spirited hand.

Just sing, of the energy
that pools, tugs at the ropes,
from beneath the smoke.

All.

For yesterday's ghosts.
The beauty of the fog.
The myths of the lore.

Light of life.
Life or death beyond.
The spectre spirits
rising and greeting.

Ghostly travel anywhere
you like.

Come and meet mine.
