I Once Was Blind But Now I See
Leaving Your Mark Upon the World in Literature
When you were born you probably didn't think of leaving anything.
But the fact of the matter is today things have changed.
I know I want to leave something upon the world and that is my mark on the world saying I was here.
The late Michael J. Smith, the astronaut, left his mark upon the world by way of his death in front of millions of people.
Sandburg left his mark upon the world by his poetry.
This is what I have need and want of doing.
Leaving the world with my poetry and for them to enjoy it.
For I it is wished to leave the mark upon the world for the people I have loved and cared for all the years I have been alive.
Dad's work will go on for him as will be the same for Mom.
