Being Mindful of Past Mistakes

Make it a point to be mindful of the past mistakes you've made to not make them again.
Someone good to me once said to err is human and to forgive divine.
This  has stuck with me for all these many years.
I ponder the things I have done in the past and have promised the Lord I'd never do it again.
With great success I have been able to maintain that promise.
Past mistakes are often not all that bad a thing but they are still bad.
Presently, I am going through a rough time with a disease I forgot I had got over.
You know, I am making some of the same mistakes I did in the beginning.
So I am NOT immune to being human but can be wiser.
