Walk With Me

When the burdens come and all I have left to hold onto there is one thing I desire--walk with me.
Don't allow the pain of the day or night to engulf me.
May I feel the warmth of you next to me.
Comforting me in the shadow of the night and the encumbrances which are present; in my life.
May I feel the freedom of your hand holding mine.
Never to let go for I will fain and cherish the time with you.
Lead me not in the abyss for I will not be able to stand.
Taking hold of my hand will help me to overcome the fears I have of the time.
Know in you I have a peace I can accept.
Forgetting never the ravishes of  time and always occupying my time in something intangible is what I do.
