I Once Was Blind But Now I See
Among the Doldrums
Being lugubriously gloomy is another way of saying you are having the doldrums.
Doldrums is a sense of gloominess.
Being gloomy is a bad way to be.
I was experiencing this for a lot of years.
Was crying uncontrollably for no reason.
The doldrums really had me and I had to escape.
I found the peace I needed by going to see a psychiatrist.
He put me straight and found I was needing extra help with the problems I was facing.
I found a twelve step program and was helped tremendously.
I was able to lose weight and made it better for myself.
I was really feeling very positive about the new me.
Among the doldrums didn't apply anymore though they do today.
