To grasp wisdom and discipline,
Learn to understand a deep thought;
Will keep you away from the sin,
Revealing truth that you have sought.
Acquire discipline be wise,
To both righteousness and justice;
Open your ears also your eyes,
No room for being prejudice.
Having sound judgment and fairness,
Insight to gullible people;
Will give others the awareness,
In knowing about the Gospel.
Give them the knowledge and foresight,
A wise person listens and learns;
Will be able to see the light,
From the salvation that he earns.
As an understanding person,
Will be gaining the direction;
And not confused by anyone,
For knowing the resurrection.
To understand wisdom and wit,
As far as what a pun is about;
When hearing riddles do not quit.
There is a meaning not to doubt.
The fear of the Lord is the start,
For the expansion of the mind;
With understanding in the heart,
And reminding you to be kind.
But stubborn fools always despise,
One with wisdom and discipline;
Hating any person as wise.
Because of the pleasures of sin.
