Today's Poetry
Homeless Man
I saw your old withered
Gaunt looking face
Your back was hunched,
Your garments out of place
The plastic bags that filled
The inside of your cart
Were often used in winter
To warm your lonely heart
Your troubled eyes were lowered
Defeated where you stood
Your spirit clearly crushed
A man misunderstood
Leathered skin from harsh winds
Made you old before your time
I saw you as you panhandled
Hand outstretched for a dime
Your sign said homeless
A tear seeped from your eye
I saw as people rushed right past
Not caring that you cry
I felt your deep emptiness
And asked God to fill your soul
To still your hunger pangs
And shelter you when cold
I don’t know why you’re broken
Man of this callous world
Or where you lay your tired body
When cold harsh winds are hurled
I do not know who you are
A father, brother, son
I only know you are God’s child
And that "Thy will be done"
And Jesus said unto them,
I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger;
and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

Natures Gentle Song
Despite The Dark Of Night
Chance Of Gray
Ache in my soul!
Where Flowers Grow
A New Leaf's Smile
The Colors of Your Love
America The Dream
I Brush Away The Crumbs
Breath of winters chill
Across the Written Skies
Always
Anchor of My Soul
Rainbow Pale to Stay
Angels Dust & Pearls
As close as a whisper
A Distant Star
Daddy Dumpling
A Glide Of Velvet Fingers
A place called home
A Song Lingers There
Belly Aching Leaves of Wilt
Wheelchair Bound
Broken Soul
Flower in my soul
Colour him Father Colour him Love
Dance Upon The Moon
I thought of you today
Abandoned and Aware
Day of Reckoning!
Dementia
Echoes Of You
