WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF MUSIC'S MELODY.

There is a time of letting go - even the dear ones we have come to 
Love and know - who grace our lives with summer's rays - and evenings
Twilight glow - and - if we are touched by memories sweet - yet hold too
Tight - or fear defeat - then sorrow will not lose its grip upon our heart -
But keep us bound - and cause us slip - into unending grief  and
Deep despair .

As wheels within a wheel - our lives are touching - turning - spinning -
But yet - not out of turn - like cogs - with each one moving to anothers 
Tuning - in harmony  with love and life - as a melody within a symphony -
A beauteous sound - that does not grate as nerve on nerve - but in sweet
Rapsody it moves along - avoiding notes that jar the senses - causing 
Strife or woeful song .

As with a dance - when each step glides in unity  - and perfect  symmetry - as 
Sequence keeps in step - within the boundaries of  the  melody - we move
As those whose lives are blessed by happenchance and sweet success -
When note on note - and beat on beat  we take each forward step - by 
Faith - as if with wings of destiny and hope - beneath 
Our trusting feet .

But - lest we forget the ones whose lives have molded ours by their own 
Lead - we will remember them  in kindly word - in thought and deed - with
Wistful smile and pleasant memories - when we recall their little quirks and 
Special ways and looks - that once endeared us as we follow on the paths   
Their footprints may have trod - and values spread - like well thumbed
Easy-reading  books .

As I was writing this poem I was thinking of those who have moved away or 
even died who have influenced my life for good ...whether for a short while or
for many years ...and I thank the Lord for the privilege of knowing them 
and their touch upon my life ..

May God bless and keep you as you dance in His steps in 
harmony - love and peace .
