Thank You For Being There
I send you this thank you
for showing such care.
When I was feeling hurt
and fell into despair.
Your kindness helped
me to see there was light.
You listened and talked
that my life be alright.
The beauty of friendship
and the help that I got.
It will never be forgotten
and it really means a lot.
The love that you show
makes life easier to bear.
My feelings of fear
were calm with you there.
The days became pleasant
and the light shone in you,
from all the acts of service
you were happy to do.
