Poetic Verses
My Angel
An angel whispered in my ear
and was quick to dry a silent tear.
Her words felt warm inside my heart
when she wrote me from the start.
She was there to help me through
the pains it seemed she also knew.
My days are hard for some to see
but she sent with love a hug to me.
I never knew when I reached out
that one could help without a doubt.
The pain that I had felt for days
felt lessened by her warm kind rays.
Through every message that she send
there is the light of a good friend.
I first reached out with a broken heart
and she gave me hope for a fresh start.
She cared no matter what was said
and during times I wished I were dead.
A simple message meant to greet
were words of healing that are sweet.
When all hope seemed lost inside
and for days I hurt and often cried.
It was this angel in her kind ways
that led the way to peaceful days.
