The Road Once Traveled

Trevor had been a wanderer for a good many years.
He has single-handedly done something of the impossible.
Trevor has walked for over one thousand miles.
Not in a day's time but for some twenty years.
The one thing he remembered is there was a road once traveled he had gone down where no one else had gone.
He basked in the beauty of the memory of this timid road no one had ever walked but himself.
His eyes caught sight of the blue sky above him.
The birds as they sang in the trees.
All culminated to bring him a joy that nothing else could do.
This is the road once traveled and will be forever etched in his memory.
