The Silent One
She is the silent one
woman, person, child who cautiously
holds the pain inside her heart.
She is invisible in a crowd
ghost, phantom, shadow who meticulously
takes measures to avoid contact with others.
She is the broken one
scared, frightened, beaten who ceremoniously
prays those who hurt her, will be forgiven.
For a friend. No pretty rhymes just the words. I have been where you are now and I will pray for your safe return to life.
