Ain`t I A Beaut.
To my lovely grandson Maxi who is 14 years old today. Happy birthday son, sorry this is late but nannies had a busy day. love always Nannie xxx
I saw you born into this world
Blue eyes full of wonder
Then I watched your fist unfurl
And listened to the thunder
As people all around you cried
Oh my he is so cute
You turned to them and smiled and sighed
`I know ain`t I a beaut.`
Years flew by like a speeding train
You grew up very fast
Now I can`t believe my wean
You`re fourteen years at last.
I am so very proud to say
My blood is your blood too
Maxi-Jay have fun today
Whatever else you do.
You have a soul that's full of light
A heart that`s made of gold
And in life you`1l do what`s right
Until you`re very old
Be all that you can be my son
Do everything you can
All that ever can be done
To make a loving man
Maxi-Jay don`t you forget
That Nannie loves you so
But you know I`d like to bet
That you already know.
