Saying Goodbye to Someone You Love

When the year 2002 arrived, Mom had expired on the 23rd of that year in January.
This is when we lived in Newport for this is the last place Mom was able to call home.
It is a sad reminder of the home we had and loved for Mom to have succumbed to the kidney failure.
I feel lugubrious over this and will be for all time.
There is a happiness of knowing where Mom is today.
However, it doesn't take away the pain of hurting any more than anything.
Mom desired to get back to Newport where she would be able to live out the rest of her life there.
It wasn't meant to be.
Saying goodbye to someone you love is what I had to do.
It isn't easy to remember the pain and the hurt we went through for Dad was much a part of this hurt as I.
This is evident though Mom resides in Heaven today which brings us a lot of joy.
