The Languid Tears of the Lord Jesus

Yes, the tears Jesus shed were languid, sluggish.
He had been beaten to a pulp and had no energy left.
I feel there were tears for the unbelievers; in the crowd that day.
For Jesus could see the many who were scoffing and pointing fingers at Him for no reason.
I am sure His heart was broken and torn from the pain He felt.
No wonder He had languid eyes not to mention the tears He shed.
There is a brighter tomorrow for Jesus didn't fail to rise.
He is alive forevermore.
The Scriptures tell us this and it is forever settled in Heaven.
Rejoice in the Lord and be mindful of His languid tears.
