 What is Dead Part 2
If you think you can hurt me
You're way over your head
Because you can't kill
What's already dead

This heart might be beating
This bright blood may be red
Yet these eyes have stopped seeing dreams
For they are cold and dead

The darkness is quick to find me
It wraps around this waist
I feel it penetrate this body
And devour me in self-hate

These scars feel bone deep
As if this life was a mistake
I'd try to run away in sleep
But the nightmares make me wake

I'm sorry to those I love
But it just can't be helped
These feelings kill me faster
Faster than I can kill myself

This body might still be moving
These lips say as they said
It's okay to turn away if you see me
Because I can't save what's dead

So turn your head away from the red
Let this heart break and bleed in peace
...
I thought I could take on the world
When in fact I couldn't even handle me
