Poetic-Verses
THE GUESTS OF HELL
They are people like us
Yet, they had forgotten themselves
Driven by passion.
They were once tough in humanity
Conquering and conquering
Yet forgot to conquer
Themselves
They were mortals as we are
Yet they despised the Christ
And forgot that to get
Beyond the borders of this land
To the shores of the golden city
They needed grace.
They committed only one sin
They felt they could give in
At a moment of pressing suggestions
But they are lost right now in hell
Yet, they had forgotten themselves
Driven by passion.
They were once tough in humanity
Conquering and conquering
Yet forgot to conquer
Themselves
They were mortals as we are
Yet they despised the Christ
And forgot that to get
Beyond the borders of this land
To the shores of the golden city
They needed grace.
They committed only one sin
They felt they could give in
At a moment of pressing suggestions
But they are lost right now in hell
