Friend of My Street

Friend of my street           October 6, 2013

The fight for freedom goes on
Our heroes are in jail, God bless the morn
Count the bodies, the kiss of life
Are you still with me in Irelands life?
Touch me comrade, give me a sign
Don't leave me my friend, we'll meet again
Why did you have to go? I don't know
Never coming home to join me, please go
You have suffered the pain with no gain
I'll meet you in heaven, friend of my street
Goodbye I love you, we won't face defeat
The fight for freedom stills goes on
Our heroes are in jail, God bless the morn
