Lulled To Sleep By An Angel

Picture the scene of a little boy and girl; in their beds.
There, above them, is an angel.
Guarding their time of slumber; the angel watches o'er them.
The wings, on the angel, are motionless.
There is a smile which is seen; on the angel's face.
Her robe is spotlessly white as are her wings.
Softly and purposely the angel rocks the two children.
Cradling the two; in her warm arms, the little wake up not.
Soon the angel flits and flies back to Heaven.
Reporting to Jesus the two little ones are resting comfortably; in their beds.
This is the work; of the Lord and is forever done this way.
