Poetic Verses
This Cancer
As the year progresses and we are now in the month of October
A month designated to remember and support those with breast cancer
And as those men and women around the world those survivors
Endure this affliction and live one with treatment and their mental powers
Who in any population who does not know or is close to someone
That has not succumbed to or is living with the burden of the affliction
To some this has most certainly brought home clearly the reality
That they should take look at life and treat the situation very seriously
Be aware that this disease or any does not see or respect any social strata
And it is quite obvious there is no control as it has its own type of agenda
So not matter your financial wealth and the cost of those material acquisitions
These will not in any way offer any type of immunity or protection
So take a very educated look at the predecessors and that genetic tree
And see the patter and take a look to see if there is a close family history
There on checking and that pattern thus come to ominous light
Do not panic just make that change which in the process may be right
To those who may not fall under the afore mention umbrella
Don't feel that you are safe and get into that state of inertia
Be proactive and avoid that feeling which may be complacent
As we are all living where there may be some carcinogens in the environment
Also too do be shy be more serious and confident in doing those self-examination tests
Take a look around the body and anything thing abnormal try to address
Like any swellings, bumps, discoloration, bleeding and any discharges
If so get to your doctor and very articulately communicate the messages
We all know this has been a battle that has been waging for long
Be united in those efforts so as to build that fort so strong
So in this fight let is all lend that supporting hand to a sister or brother
And in the process provide that information to give those researchers more power
