We’re living between two great days…
Events that awe, adhere, amaze!
The day that Christ hung before men
And the day when He returns again!
His death, a dark day sketched in time,
Displayed a Light none could define.
Despised, rejected, spit upon…
Yet was He not Chief Corner Stone?
The crimes of men were crucified!
Sin stained the Cross on which He died!
Dear Lamb of God whose blood flowed free!
A day to live in infamy!
O, but a third day came to past!!
When hordes of hell all stood aghast!!
Someone was messing with the stone!!
Lo and behold, His body’s gone!!!
A resurrected Christ appeared!!
Promise of Heavenly life premiered!!
Ascension served to show the Way!!
O, Glory! What a glorious day!!!
But, yet, another day is due…
When Christ shall come for me and you!
We live between these two great days…
O, Lamb of God, we give you praise!

John 12:32-33
And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw
all men unto me. This he said , signifying what
death he should die .
Hebrews 5:7-8
In the days of his flesh, Jesus offered up prayers and
supplications, with loud cries and tears, to him
who was able to save him from death, and he was heard
for his godly fear. Although he was a Son, he learned
obedience through what he suffered..."
Psalm 22: 14-16
I am poured out like water and all my bones are out of joint
my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.
My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth
to my jaws and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.
For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked
have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.
Isaiah 28:16-17:
"So this is what the sovereign Lord says: ‘See, I lay
a stone in Zion, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone
for a sure foundation; the one who trusts will never
be dismayed. I will make justice the measuring line and
righteousness the plumb line.’"
1 Peter 2:6
For it stands in Scripture:
"Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone,
a cornerstone chosen and precious,
and whoever believes in him will not be put to shame."
Mathew 28:1-6
In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn
toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene
and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. And, behold ,
there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord
descended from heaven, and came and rolled back
the stone from the door, and sat upon it. His countenance was
like lightning, and his raiment white as snow: And for
fear of him the keepers did shake , and became as dead men.
And the angel answered and said unto the women,
Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified .
He is not here: for he is risen , as he said . Come , see the
place where the Lord lay .
John 14:1-3
"Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God
, believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many
mansions [dwellings]; if it were not so, I would have
told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go
and prepare a place for you, I will come again and
receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you
may be also."
Suggested prayer:
"Dear God, thank you for the wonderful hope that
every Christian has, that you came to earth the first time to pay
the penalty for all my sins, and that you are now preparing a place
for me in heaven. And thank you for your wonderful promise that
when the time is ready, you will come back again to take me to
be with you forever. Gratefully in Jesus' name, Amen."
