A Place of Blindness & Blurred Starkness
As Men Stumbled & Groped In Their Darkness
Their Confidence Crawl, Thru Smoke & Mist
Just To Edges of Reason But Past Ego-Cliffs
Pushed Into Piles of Ambition of Prideful-Pits
Thus Many Have Wandered Into The Abyss
And Due To A Clenched-Fist, Defiance of Man
The World Came Under A Black-Market Ban
And Earth, Now Wears A Shade-Disguise
Ashamed of Her Pollution & All Her Gravesides
What Once Crested Life, Now Covers Its Deaths
Earth Looks Like A Widow, In Mourning Garb, Bereft
In Dirty, Woolen Garments - In Space She Stands
The World Has Become A Shadowed Land
Thru The Riots & Rebelliousness of Man
Thru His Near-Sighted Schemes & One-Eye-Patch Plans
Thru The Directions - of Man's Opinions-Opaqueness
The World's A Site of Uncertainties & Point of View Vagueness
Earth Is Battling ... Greed, Corruption, The Careless & Crime
Earth Is Battling ... Private Property & No Trespassing Signs
She's Battling ... For Elements & Seasons & Cycles Designs
Earth Is Battling ... For Her Resources, Her Children & Her Climes
Earth Is Battling ... Chemical Spills & Overused Mines
(& Earth Can Feed The People If They Free Her Vines)
So Earth Is Fighting ... For Her Core, Her Layers, Her Spine
Yes, Earth Is Fighting ... For Her Womb, Her Lovers, Her Rise
Earth Is Fighting ... For Her Orbit & Atmosphere To Climb
Earth Is Fighting ... For Survival & "Day-Light Saving" Time
& As Her Horizon's Stretches - Earth Is Drawing A Line ...
She's Tired Of Being An Old Shadowed Land In Her Prime
Men Have Blemished Her Face & Put Bags Under Her Eyes
Yes, Earth Has Shadows - But She Was Made To Shine!
Earth Is A Great Gift - Once of A Garden - Divine
Earth ... Is This Solar System's Godly Shrine!

Due To Man's Stubborn-Streak & Suspicious-Strands
The World Has Become A Shadowed Land
A Land Being Buried In Misguided Sands
& Pitch Black Palms & Petroleum Pans
(& Since The Garden of Eden, Man Saying, "Yes We Can!")
And From North & East & South & West
The World Is A Shadowed Land of Threats
Cloaked In Jet-Clouds & Mass-Mushroom-Bombs
& Tin Economic Shelters (Only Made For Some)
And Some Are Afraid To Move From Where They Stand
Because The World Has Become This Shadowed Land
And They Feel Better Blindfolded - By Their Oblivion
While Balanced Atop Their Towers of Babylon
They're Afraid To Reach Out & Afraid To Search
Or Pull The Bag Off Their Heads In Case The Limbs Lurch
As They Sit On A Recurring, Precarious Perch
They're Afraid of The Unseen Powers At Work ...
They're Afraid of The Lightning In The Storm
They're Afraid of The Lightnings That Flash & Warn
They're Afraid To Find Out - That What They Did ...
Could Be Wrong - And So They Hid!
... Their Eyelids Locked Against The Light
Their Eyelids Locked - Prevented Sight
Men Tightly Closed With All Their Might
They Did Not Wish To See What Was Right ...
... In Front of Their Eyes ... It Hurt Their Vision
To See That Darkness Is What Caused The Division
& In That Darkness, They Could Not Envision
The Way Out & The Truth & The Light's Provision
Due To The Obsidian-Arrogance of Man
Earth Is Being Suffocated On Her Own Divan
Plundered & Pocketed - Men Divide Her As Spoil
But Earth Is A Pretty Footstool of One Radiant & Royal
And In This Darkness Where We Were Hurled
Behold! ... There Came ... ' The Light of The World!'
Thru The Darkness, There Shone The Light ...
Shining Sacred, Strong, Clear and Bright!
A Light Switched On, By A Forgiving Hand
And That Bright Light Will Continue To Expand
Into The Whole World To See & Understand
That GOD Will Not Leave HIS Earth - A Shadowed Land
