Do not ignore this fact,
The way time just may act;
To be in one accord,
With our loving Lord.
One day with Him as nears,
Is like a thousand years;
And could look like this way,
Thousand years as one day.
We think of time its worth,
As here on planet earth;
Rather than time and space,
Where time is out of place.
The same with creation,
Time had no foundation;
We had no day or year,
Because of nothing here.
Modern time based on man,
As we saw from His plan;
From hour to minute,
The days and weeks in it.
God just gave us the tools,
For setting up the rules;
Rotating earth and moon,
Sets the time of high noon.
Length of month and the day,
Determined how they sway;
The moon shows us the phase,
The part of month we gaze.
The Lord is never slow,
But always on the go;
Not in the same time zone,
But one day our own.
