 UnspokenDreams

miscarriage of Justice

I Can't stop my tears rolling,
Or stop my heart from aching,
Cant get my head around this feeling,
Its like my heart is breaking.

I can't shift this empty hole,
Inside I'm such a mess,
My stomach is tied up in knots
And the anger you have left.

I only wanted to be believed,
Now I guess I never will,
You hurt me in the worst way,
Yet get to smile still.

You hold your head high I see,
Even knowing you are wrong,
You don't have the guts to admit,
That you were lying all along.

I walk along feeling empty,
Wondering how I carry on,
I'm not a victim I am a survivor,
But even I don't get this one.

I never cared for revenge,
The truth is all I crave,
Now instead I'm disbelieved,
Knowing justice can't be saved.

I hope you can live in guilt,
I hope your conscience soon kicks in,
For the truth will out 1 day soon,
And justice will finally win.
