In the Valley of the Gardenias

When the evening sun sets upon the valley of the gardenias there is a happiness felt by the town's people.
The bright sun has done its job for the day and is settling in for the evening.
There were Kris and Country Poet along with Janie and Janet who had gone to the valley of gardenias,.
It was a picturesque sight for them all to see and give their praise to God.
I am along for the ride being a silent partner to Kris.
Kris has the floor and is expounding upon the beauty he sees within the valley.
The ladies all converge over a table where they discuss the sight and are pleased to see the valley in all of its glory.
Kris and I become enthralled at the sunset as it appears to the west of us.
We speak of our poetry and the love of each other's work.
The ladies sit for  a time in pondering the same thing as Kris and I do.
Country Poet comes up with a sacred piece to honor the Lord she loves as the others listen.
By this time the nighttime has already fallen as we leave the  valley of gardenias.
But we take along with us the friendship love the other has for each member.
Giving praise to the Lord for Monique making the site available.
This is a treasured time we all shared and remain to be close to this day.
The Lord has made it so clear we will be reunited in His heaven when it is our time to leave the earth and the valley of the gardenias.
