Never Let Them See You Cry

Mom, Rachel Elizabeth Brickhouse, was a lady who would sometimes cry.
True, a normal occurrence of someone crying but the thing of Mom was she didn't want Dad to see her cry.
He was opposed to the theatrical tears which were always perfunctory and never real.
But the crying Mom did was understandable.
For I had put Mom through so much in my adult life.
I am one who will not be able to cry anymore for the tear ducts are dry.
Never let them see you cry is an advice I must cling.
For if I were to start I wouldn't know when to stop.
Loneliness is the reason I would be found to cry.
For I am so lonely and all to myself that no one wishes to be close.
This is a hurtful thing but I have to experience the pain.
This is where I am; in my life today.
