Words you sought to bring an end
Too much disturbed, to make amends
Of you this day, a loss for words
Just shy of one you have not heard
You drown yourself right out the door
Of second chance but calls implore
For you to rise by He who saved
This moment now a soul that craves
A change of heart that had its fill
Of hurt and lost, two bitter pills
They run amok inside of you
Leaving near dead you Black and blue
You gave away your confidence
Up to a world filled with nonsense
If you just tried to make some sense
You'd seen an end to your suspense
Keep to Him who trusts in you
Trusting is your near breakthrough
If you'd just stop, you would conceive
This victory, still yours, believe!
