Sufficient By EDWIN FLORES, www.PoetryPoem.com/poetry2231 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
Time alone when quiet brings
The daily storms we breathe within
To end and calm what raged outside
Inside our soul where GOD abides
Withstood the waves that rocked vessel
This body ours and eyes that wrestled
With the thought of losing sight
Of peace, our place within Gods light
We dig real deep within ourselves
To overcome our secret Hell's
Through loss we find that Truth remained
To draw us close, to help sustain
These wounds incurred from battle ground
The fire fights from them rebound
Sufficient came and drew the line
Some time ago and still does find
Time to wipe the tears that in us blind
These moments now upon His mind
Sufficient held the line with us
To rise above, in Him to trust
To know that good would come of this
Good all His, how could we miss
Suffice it to say, Christ is Sufficient
