My Own Halloween Story



So many years ago I was sleeping at home with my parents; in the next room.
There was a nightmare which occurred of which I am going to share.
The situation was when I listened a song repeatedly that it began playing tricks on my mind.
It was Experiment In Terror played by Henry Mancini.
I had listened to this repeatedly every day after work.
Then one night it all happened.
I was dreaming of my mom being gone for a decade.
One night it was raining so badly I had to look hard across the street.
There to my amazement was my mom standing there with her head in her hand.
She looked at me and said Why did  you kill me?
From this I woke up wanting to scream but wasn't able.
I had ran into my parent's bedroom and told Mom what I had  dreamed.
It was then as all mothers will she comforted me with telling me it was only a dream and for me to go back to bed,.
I listened but the next day at work the words kept ringing in my ears and wouldn't leave me until about noon that same day.
