Before you came, a man of peace
A man of sorrows, man thought of least
Took the form of one in need
Homeless soul for you to feed
A cup of coffee and Danish too
Your time to shine to see them through
A cost factor of time and love
Free to share and sow now of
A heart like Christ to bring to light
A helping hand to give one might
Search your soul this day and think
Of those with less, with them tie links
No less children, of He who made
This moment yours, for you to save
Save a life that in this hour
Needs to rise and not to cower
For they are His for you to help
Just look real deep within thyself
Is GOD in you to nourish one?
Feed the world as did His son
This write brings, once more to eyes
That may just read what in you ties
The God of Jacob and of David
Your wealth to share and not save it
So think once more before you came
The need to be, a gift, not shame
Within you lies the breath of life
His breath, the need to rise from strife
Before you, are needs to be
To be comfort, to intercede
