'' That Applies To Both Girl And Boy ''
When born you are truly a gift to behold,
As yet you are but a story untold,
Nobody knows how your life will unfold,
Will it be a curse or a joy?
From an early age you will start to learn,
The respect of others you have to earn,
For some this will be a cause for concern,
As certain people can really annoy.
Though you are born with a mind of your own,
What you learn from your peers is what will be shown,
Independence will come when you have grown,
Never let the past destroy.
Being who you are may well need refined,
How you achieve that is how you'll be defined,
The answers you require are all in your mind,
But your intelligence you need to deploy.
If you've done wrong bad excuses are lame,
Lying to deceive will achieve nothing but shame,
If you have the decency to accept the blame,
You'll have shown you truly are coy.
Throughout life's journey there are those who'll corrupt,
Your response to them must be true yet abrupt,
Your life you must never let them interrupt,
Show them you'll not be treated as their toy.
There are two roads in life the right and the wrong,
Finding which one you've taken doesn't take long,
If you've made a mistake you must remain strong,
A different route can be your ploy.
Always remain close to you family and friends,
Ensure their relationship never ends,
If into chaos your life transcends,
They'll show you they're the real McCoy.
You are ultimately responsible for all that you do,
If you encounter problems you must see them through,
How you live your life is entirely up to you,
