you breathe life into my pen
with your inspiring words and phrases
dispensing your gifts that give me
spiritual uplift and strength;
you breathe passion of fire into my lungs,
blessing me with the will to wield my pen
like never before,
she reads my words
but they are seldom heard,
but when my adjectives and verbs
reach your shores
you reciprocate without hesitation or haste
and all I can do is give eternal thanks
for the Most High blessing me with your infinite light,
wisdom,
and grace;
I read every word believing its for me
and even if I'm wrong I still accept it
because your pen connects to mine
no matter the creed or decree
and when I have the opportunity to cherish every word read
I'm no longer hungry
because I have been properly nourished and fed;
thanks for always being my light when all others dim and burn out...
