Faith without Deeds is dead By EDWIN FLORES, www.PoetryPoem.com/poetry2231 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
This sphere of life spins without remorse
Sought hands and feet to change man's course
Are yours today to help someone
Someone today thought as no one
A hand extends from foreign land
A place of dread, where one last stand
Is lived each day barely with breath
One last inhale near close to death
A child hungers, a mothers cry
A cry for life, thousands of sighs
Need someone to know and hold
As life becomes of them stone cold
GOD gave us all a role to change
A role to serve and not estrange
The less that have but less to give
Less of them as barely live
Across the street around the world
Someone needs you to help what curled
A soul that waits, in need of you
If you just came to walk them through
A mission's trip to open eyes
Yours to clear a life gone dry
For far too long, a song to sing
A heart to tug at ones heart strings
Take part this day and change what frowned
Ones face that smiled now upside down
For love may be what needs be said
Love of one for them who bled
With faith and deeds, alive not dead
