Showing Respect is Using Wisdom



When you are; in the room, with older people present show respect.
Be mindful of your responsibilities and your manners of being kind and respectful.
For there is wisdom you have never been exposed and other things which should matter.
I am most glad my parents reared me to be respectful to my elders.
They had a harshness about them if you didn't follow protocol.
For they had to do so when they were younger and the same is true with us.
I am most glad they taught me from the get-go of being truly respectful and mindful of who the older people were.
I never would treat them anything but kind and the same thing should be so today but regrettably it isn't.
Where did our upbringing go that we should have held?
Do we ever wish to get our older people out of our thoughts and be to ourselves?
This is  a very important question that only you can answer as an individual.
It is prudent and wise to be mindful and respectful to those older than we are.
