Upside Down

Upside Down                 October 27, 2013

Drop out, jump about, do it now, not then
Take more, that's for sure, then do it all again
Secret stash, don't mean cash, you know
Upside down without a crown and the evil eye
American pie with the elephant's eye
Bobby and john we love you, don't cry
Martin said no but had to go, life goes on
Imagine was the song that all went wrong
The mad mans gun, death doesn't take long
We hated Nam; we gave a damn, showed it on the street
Shoe less Joe, nowhere to go, never missed a beat
The Wall did crash, what a bash, we know it wasn't funny
The people's march one million strong never walked for money
Falling down caused by birds, many people died
Vietnam was with us again the day New York cried
The drugs from hell; from the children no goodbye
Belief in above is an issue, cry and look to the sky
Drop out, jump about, do it now, not then
Take more, that's for sure, then do it all again
