Remembering Times Gone By

I  am able to remember when a haircut was a quarter.
The soda  I would drink only cost ten cents.
There was a grocery truck which delivered the food my parents purchased to drop it by the house.
I am able to remember when the high school was the only school we had for the elementary and high school together.
Life was a simple experience not like today with the modern conveniences.
A meal didn't come in a box as it does today.
There were churches that remained open without any door locks.
Not like today that have to have locks upon their doors.
A teacher was a great part of your life instead of today where they are ignored and put down as nobodies.
They were revered and thought highly by every student there was.
I am glad to have been reared the time I was for it is time of which I will never see again.
The Lord gave me to my parents for I wasn't a mistake.
Bless the name of the Lord for His blessings upon me.
