October began weekly hours cut by eight
Extra hours only when needed to stay late
Supervisor seemed to follow suit promptly
After a temp reduced her hours voluntarily
Columbus Day was a soft bank holiday
Limited staff reported to work that day
I was selected for training in balancing
God provided by His hand of blessing
Training Monday was a one day event
Not affecting my current job duties yet
Skills learned as a tool and foundation
I can use in other banks with instruction
One temp in our group is learning balancing
Trainer Monday advised me to seek training
Tuesday we were busy after the bank holiday
One supervisor for PR was out until Monday
Our supervisor said training set up next week
Thursday came and follow up I decided to seek
Company email asked for patience with training
Promise not kept but I will wait for God’s timing
Mondays my schedule had stayed the same
Until the announcement last Thursday came
Everyone told to stay out of PR bank keying
I had sensed the inevitable news was coming
Monday I voluntarily left two hours early
Other system caught up not normal usually
Tuesday PR keying officially outsourced
No help needed unless they ask of course
After clocking out to leave work Tuesday
I bumped into my trainer on Columbus Day
Last week more for that bank were trained
Did not match from what she had explained
I had already offered her hours of my availability
Now I sensed God prompting me to ask anyway
She said I could get in that bank and do balancing
With any open batches it gave me hope reassuring
I told the night supervisor who said that was great
I will still confirm with my supervisor at any rate
Whether or not the end result increases my hours
God is in control and He will guide by His power
