'' That's The Price Of Living A Lie ''

It was one of the greatest days of my life,
Leaving behind the single strife,
On that day she became my beloved wife,
The emotion made me cry.

Our courting together lasted four years,
The love we shared reduced us to tears,
For our future there were no fears,
Just a glance made us both sigh.

Thereafter we lived in a beautiful house,
Initially just me and my, beautiful spouse,
Our love for each other no one could douse,
Nothing could go awry.

Then our children joined our commune,
Seeing them born was such a boon,
To the outside world we were immune,
We were all on such a high.

After that, things started to change,
I felt as if I was out of her range,
She started acting really strange,
Common sense just didn't apply.

She started going out more and more,
Enjoying her family became a chore,
Her indifference to us we began to deplore,
It was causing a hue and cry.

To be a liar you need to be good,
They'd blame it on you if they could,
Their biggest excuse is I'm misunderstood,
The laws of decency they defy.

Her life was now filled with deceit,
Treating all of us with total conceit,
When she was exposed as a lying cheat,
The facts she still tried to deny.

The problem with adulterous affairs,
Is it catches your victim unawares,
While you're cheating and saying who cares,
Your casualties are wishing they could die.

Adultery is a cowardly way to behave,
In reality lust is all that you crave,
Yet it hits the innocent like a tidal wave,
With their feelings you refuse to comply.

The problem with cheats is they never stop,
One day you or him will get caught on the hop,
You'll treat each other as a temporary prop,
Before long you'll be saying goodbye.

If any of these verses apply to you,
Remember cheating's like death you can't start anew,
The damage you've done you will never undo,
