The Backyard Of My Life

The Rolling Stone

In the midnight hour
I walk the falling rain
To take the train to nowhere
Under the sky again
I aint got no money no fixed abode
Like a rolling stone
On a lonely road

But i owe no one nothing
I live my life for me
I am not a victum
Nore the enemy

I walked a million miles
In the burning sun
I was thirsty for water
But the desert had none
But with the shock of the lightning
I fell to my knees
For my mama told me there'd be days like these

I only give out love
I dont live in fear
I just want to know
Who i am and why iam here

I drove a hundred highways
On the darkest night
A swamp in alabama
Brought me to day light
I dont have the answers or the code
I am just a driffter
On a one way road

But i owe no one nothing
I live my life for me
I am not a victum
Nore the enemy

I climbed the highest moutain
Ive been to hell and back
Ive seen a huricain
And watched the sky turn black
I carried a burden and a heavy load
Like a tumble weed on a windy road

I only give out love
I dont live in fear
I just wannt to know
Who i am an why i am here
