A new Heaven and new earth,
Shown glory in all of its worth;
The first heaven and earth are gone,
And see the light of the new dawn.
All of the old has disappeared,
Like non-believers that had feared;
The sea is also gone likewise,
As well as the clearly blue skies.
Then I saw the Holy City,
Looking all so shiny and pretty;
Coming down from God in Heaven,
Look as a bride to be given.
Ready for her husband our Lord,
And coming down in one accord;
For God has been showing His plan,
Making His home living with man.
Those atoned God will not condemn,
And He will make His home with them;
His children to be His people;
For their belief in the Gospel.
He will wipe all tears from their eyes,
Give them insight to make them wise;
There will not be any more death,
No more worry of their last breath.
For those who have a firm belief,
There will be no sorrow or grief;
There will be no crying or pain,
No longer any sin to stain.
All former things have passed away,
No longer any shades of gray;
A new era and a new dawn,
The old Heaven and earth are gone.
