I knew what I had not what I didn't have
I thought I was fine with this friend of mine
I know now I was wrong, goodbye so long

Move on in life without the love of my life
Shake off the dust, goodbye to my strife
The sun still shines as I look to the sky
The angels are with me, I'm gonna try
Walk my road with this heavy load
Without my yesterday friend
