WILDERNESS
Disregarded for nineteen years
The garden is wild and torn
I shuffled around, nervously
Trying my best to devise a plan
One that would tame the wilderness
Of ivy choked trees and brambles
Staring at this wilderness, this mockery
Of a garden I thought, ah heck, I’ll
Just nip in and read a book.
