Meeting new friends, places not seen
The Big Apple over their looks pretty good
Boston with the Irish for this cool dude
Ellis island with the lady I'll blow her a kiss
Brooklyn, Manhattan, how could I miss
I'm leaving the old sod to pick up my share
There's gold on the street, it doesn't seem fair
Pie in the sky, so they say, goodbye I'm on my way
Kiss the ground here and there, tomorrow's another day
The big land waits, I'm on my way
I'll walk proud and tall, I'll remember every day
