The Lonely Bear In the Window

There was a lonely bear sitting in the store's window one day.
There was a little boy who was looking at the gifts; in the store.
He wanted to get a gift for his little sister.
A dolly wouldn't do for she had so many.
Then he spotted the lonely bear; in the window.
How much is the bear, he asked.
The store keeper said two dollars for it doesn't have both eyes.
So the little boy counted his money and to his surprise he had the right amount.
He went to the store window and picked up the bear and had the store keeper to gift wrap it for him.
Carrying the bear out the store the smile was upon his face.
His heart was so full of joy and happiness he couldn't wait to see his sister.
The lonely bear wasn't lonely anymore for he was at his new home.
I know this is a true story for I was the bear missing the one eye.
