A Christmas I Remember

At the age of twelve years of age I was given my first record player.
It was a Decca and could it belt out the music.
It was a monaural that  you had to put the arm on the record.
The thing about it was the joy of having a new record player for myself.
It was wonderful.
The holiday was all the things it should have been.
The turkey was cooking and the other things to go along with it were there.
The holidays were cold for it was of course in December.
Many things went on that will remain to be part of my life.
