TWO WAY STREET

Every street goes two ways, even a dead end street
In the dead end street, you can always turn around.
Both streets are varied in, that we decide what to do.
Keep going forward, always leaving decisions behind

The plane, the train and the car can carry us onwards.
But perhaps they are a one way street, that we know can
change direction, when, or if we decide on our actions.
Crashing always into a dead end street serves no purpose.

Maybe I never turn around and realize that I must change.
But the thought of one way only is comforting to me. Two
way streets carry resolution, perhaps uncomfortably,
turning back on the two way street, is the only way forwards
