Honoring Our Own Veteran Terry S.

We have many veterans to honor on this our time of Veterans Day.
The one that comes to mind is our own Terry S.
Serving in the Vietnam conflict so many years ago never received the honor that was so right to offer and freely give him.
He served with honor and saved countless lives over there.
What did we do as a people the veterans trusted and loved?
We shunned the returning veterans and saw to it they were less than acceptable; in our eyes collectively.
I am here to praise Terry S. for the great man he is.
I will be glad to stand and salute him for the sacrifice he made to serve.
Bless you, Terry S. for being the great man you are; in my eyes and the eyes of many other Americans who know what you did and bless you.
I am put back that some of our own has blasted this great man for being what he was and served with his whole heart.
We are the ones who need to ask forgiveness for the failures of acknowledging him.
I am stand with you in a figurative sense for I am unable to physically stand any longer.
